Read Me
You entered the world with healing talentsPiece by piece giving your life source away
Sensitive, over years, you had lost yourself
Sold, bit by bit in the hopes of closeness
Becoming what you thought others needed
Trying to give others back to themselves
Longing for realness you suffered in silence
Unknown, unseen, unappreciated, left unhealed
Sent away with the unsatisfying love of infatuation
Unable to disentangle, you took on the wounds of others
It became necessary in your mind to scare off love
For love had damaged you, as it has all of us
The core of you remains, we shall yet retrieve it
Fully, completely, you shall again be free
If that's what you earnestly desire
Not imprisoned by me for that would destroy my essence
I do not need to take by force, my skill is love
Blessed you are with talents and abilities
You have depth and vision
So entangled, you found yourself in knots
Still, you reached out your hands to heal me
When I couldn't breathe
Internalizing who I am, for the moment you can't see
You are still there, for you while searching, I am safety
I see and feel what others turn away from
Unsure they don't know how to help
They didn't do it just to be mean
Scared, all protect themselves
You gave them enough to move on
Afraid they would consume you
Raw, you learned to use your powers for sport
You thought you'd get even
But instead you only got further from yourself
Power can be that way
You have a higher mission, you have what it takes
Am I strong enough not to get in your way
I don't know, I can only say, I now yet stand
My wish is not dependence but freedom
The interactive script is fluid for we cannot see all
Don't look to my mind to tell you who I am
In there is chatter, an ole monkey mind
Read my soul, listen for my heart, feel my energy
I am imprinted with compassion and other-worldliness
Spirit is my rhythm, not perfect but real
I am of you, in you and with you
