    Poem Commentary

The stressor's of life are speeding up folks, these are the threshing wheels in our lives. No one is without the refining of their beliefs and values. It's all up to you. Holding onto old ways of thinking and believing can cause more pain than its worth. An old saying, the quickest way out is through...

    ANTE UP

    Threshing wheel
    Of limiting beliefs....

    Alloys fiery steel
    Refiner our debrief....

    Strike our Achilles' heel
Call to account our value's chief....

    Mirage's blindness boldly steal
    Grant us no relief....

    Through purifying ordeals
As we shed off prior griefs....

    Established, long entrenched
Faster and stronger against our hold....

    Upon everything clenched
    Shatter all that is controlled....

    Until our reality is wrenched
Against our brains cellular slime mold....

May all that hinders become torched
For to corruption we have been sold....

Make it last till priority's retrenched
With every roll distortion knock cold....

    As we ante up
    Determined to be refined....

For we have been loaded with cock-ups
Desire of freedom for all mankind....

    From every harmful rotten pileup
Until all find their higher mind....

    Everything must be shaken up
    Leave no human behind....

Quite often we assuredly slip up
We leave ourselves so wantonly confined....

We offer up ourselves to this
For we know the changing tide....

Doing so, our spiritual-self rises in bliss
Then no longer from love will we hide....

    Knowingly it shall persist
For in spirit we absolutely abide....

We can meet it without remiss
We will bring forth all that is inside....

    Let love be our emphasis
    With courage we will reside....

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
