Psalms of a leader

Poem Commentary

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enimes and foes, They stumbled and fell. Tough an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. Psalms 27:1-3

Psalms of a leader

Oh lord glorious lord and light,

You are so might.

I'll rain at your side, to do your bid's,

With fear out of site. Stand up for my God.

Battle whats wrong and for whats right,

For I know your at my side. By faith I leap.

And for ever more shall the lord rain in my life.

So lead on Jesus, Teach us all.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
