    One More Chance

    One more second,
Fumbled from the hands of time.
    Another tick of the taunter.
    An added day without you.

    An extra hour,
    Being without your touch.
    More moments in time,
    Without you.

    One more moment
    To miss your smile.
    A new day,
    To wait for you.

A positive view of being without. By the way, from the root that fruits to grape, is distilled the wine.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
