    No One Heard A Thing

In a world occupied by many, I yelled from my temple
From the window behind the blinds, hoping to be at least a dimple
In the smile of time but all I find is
    “No one heard a thing”
Torn vocal cords and tears of blood is all I felt in the place of love
Screaming that all I wanted was hug, but what was I thinking of
    “No one heard a thing”
I tried to give to receive but how could I believe
That good would ever come to me when all I see
Is my good rewarded with bad my happy with sad
I went from upset to mad used, abused and confused I still screamed and
    “No one heard a thing”

THE BEST WORD SPOKEN ARE ALWAYS THE ONE'S UNHEARD. IT ALWAYS SEEMS THAT WHEN WE NEED TO BE HEARD THE MOST OUR WORDS FALL ON DEAF EARS, SOMETIMES AN AKWARD SILENCE BREAKS THAT ,ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS FOLLOWED BY THE COUNTERPARTS RESPONSE OF WHATS WRONG...GREAT READ POET...GURL

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
