My Enemy
I scream with all my might but silently
As I smile at the world that treats me violently
Feeding me torture disguised oh so beautifully
As the mirror I hide from shows the true culprit is me
I am my own worst enemy although so hard to admit
I'm stubborn confused and to proud to quit
But how do I fix me when I'm the reason I'm broken
Confused and defeated by my own reality but hoping
To defeat the beast within at a lost for a remedy
A losing battle to win to defeat me the enemy
As I smile at the world that treats me violently
Feeding me torture disguised oh so beautifully
As the mirror I hide from shows the true culprit is me
I am my own worst enemy although so hard to admit
I'm stubborn confused and to proud to quit
But how do I fix me when I'm the reason I'm broken
Confused and defeated by my own reality but hoping
To defeat the beast within at a lost for a remedy
A losing battle to win to defeat me the enemy
