    no more fantacy world

    thers this woman,
i use to think she hated me,
    i thought she didnt care.
i use to live in a fantacy world,
a fantacy world of a perfect mother.
but now, its not a fantacy,
it reality, and i love her.
    she told me things,
    i always wanted to hear.
i put her through so much pain,
    but now, i feel peaceful.
ive douted God for the longest time,
im sorry God, please forgive me.
i was lost, i was in pain.
    im living the perfect life,
i have everything ive always wanted.
this woman, im proud to call her...
    my mother.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
