No Matter What

No Matter What

To talk to you as my friend
Or be with you as my man
Know that I'm with you
From the beginning to the end.
Whether you have a girl
Or I have a man.
Remember that I'm here for you;
A lifelong friend.
You've been with me through troubles,
Talked me into being calm.
Whenever I felt alone,
On my back I felt your palm.
Even though I've never seen you,
I don't care to see your face.
After all you've helped me through,
In my heart you have a place.
Always and forever,
I'm with you to the end.
With much love,
from your very bestfriend.

This has a nice flow to it and it brings out a great friend.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
