A Good Friend
A person I can talk to,
A lifelong friend.
Whether it's giving their life
Or lending a helping hand.
Been there from the start,
With me to the end.
Helping me out and calming me down.
Again and again
No reason to front
Although she sometimes works my nerves
Always, until the end
My friendship is her's.
I'd easily give my life for her
Or take her blame and go to jail.
I'll even take her sins from her
And be sentenced eternally to hell.
There's no reason to be her friend.
There's also no reason not to.
But I know we have eachother's back,
No matter what we go through.
