Things in sleep,

they seem so real...

dreams you want to keep,

nightmares in the night...

darkness in all you feel...

So much love,

your heart longs to steal...

Scarry faces,

hiding in the walls...

you scream out,

no one there...

no one to hear your calls

Trying to awake,

from evil all around...

longing for day break,

the evil it will take...

Crying aloud,

crying in the night,

crying with a voice,

a voice with no sound...

Things in sleep,

dreams you want to keep,

a love you feel...

The touch of love,

as gentle eyes meet...

the touch of lips,

in soft gentle sips...

You cling to a pillow,

no one there...

no one to feel,

the touch of your love...

Not wanting to wake,

from love all around...

sweet gentle whispers,

love without a sound...

Nightmare or dream,

but neither is ...

neither will ever be,
