My Lovely

My Lovely

Bare naked in the winter

Or decked out in summer finery..

Dripping wet from a springtime storm

Limbs tangled within each other

Reaching ever upward, ever outward

No matter what you are doing

Or how you are dressed

you always give my eyes

a beautiful place upon which to rest

My lovely red leaf

Japanese maple.

Very nice. In the begininning I assumed you were writing about a person. Well done.

beautiful tree and equally beautiful description. I like the sensual feel of the piece and the visuals it conjurs up :D

Thank you very much Dfly...Trees are naturally beautiful..the way their trunks and limbs grow...glorious!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
