    My Dear Sons

Every since me and daddy had you our lives have become one
Watching you grow day in and day out
Playing every sport under the sun
    Your personalities are perfect
They are exactly what I want them to be
They make you you and Thank You both
from the bottom of my heart for loving me
In your short period of life you have experienced so much
You have traveled by plane and even by bus
You guys make a mess and of course it's a mother and fathers job
    to fuss
But at the end of the day the only thing that matters is us
Not money, not cars, not jewelry or any of that material stuff
So if anything worries your little hearts
Don't worry that's what Mommy and Daddy are here for we'll always work our hardest to fix that part
We've loved and cherished you both from the very start

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
