    Love

A love that really grew with time,
that cannot fit in this simple rhyme.
A love that filled my heart with hope
because never once did I start to mope.
    A love that somehow overcame
    jealousy, hate or any game.
A love that made my heart beat fast,
I really wanted this one to last.
A love that truly stayed in my mind
from a man so gentle and so kind.

A love that one day had to end
because of holes to big to mend.
A love that faded with the breeze,
even though you pleaded on you knees.
A love that wouldn't keep saying yes
to all the times you got in a mess.
A love that once was full and bright,
now just shadows with no light.
A love that lacked the I love you
and the simple return of I love you too.

Love that is set free leaves traces of its departure in thef tears we shed and on the heart it left. But we can dry the tears and fill the heart with a new love and new hope for a better day. well written my dear.

I saw a lot of good ideas in this poem. "A love that once was full and bright, now just shadows with no light." loved it. TS
