    I'm Tired
    So here I am crying in my room
    because I'm never good enough
    and I'm tired of not measuring up.

    So here I am wishing that you
    would take the time to understand
    I cannot do all that you demand.

    So here I am praying to God
    that I can stop letting you down
    and I'm tired of trying not to drown.

    So here I am yelling at you
    because all you do is yell at me
    and why do I try if we only disagree?

    So here I am writing out this poem
    and I wish it would start a riot
    because I'm tired of being quiet.

    I feel exactly where you are coming from. The best poems come from the feelings that we hide.

    I liked this, but remember, don't rhyme because you feel you need to. You caught me with your first verse.(close but not really a rhyme.)2nd verse could end with-- and see me for who I really am. just a thought. TS
