    KISS

    KISS

I change because I won and lost,

Because I don’t have you in my arms,

    I know why they say,

I want to loose myself in love with you,

Because not having you would just be painful,

I would love to hear your voice all the time,

    But maybe some other time,

Or maybe just one more time,

    I can’t even cry,

Because there are no more tears inside,

    Don’t even pray,

Because I feel like I am too late,

And she has a new roommate,

In the place that I once slept,

Because you only get one chance,

I would love to hold your hand,

With my head up high so high,

Because you were going to be,

    My trophy WIFE.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
