DROWNING
I just wanted to be with you 24 7,
I just thought I was in heaven,
I didn’t know you couldn’t breath,
I wasn’t trying to be mean,
I just wanted you to see,
How much you mean to me,
I just wanted you to be next to me,
So you can see how proud you made me be,
For having such a beauty,
For my queen.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
