A+J
A+J
As I look and envy the space of time,
Wishing you were mine,
With desire of holding you close to me,
Feeling, touching, kissing your beauty,
For all I can see is the pictures of what used to be,
The same sounds that make me think you are here,
And no longer will let me heal,
I will always be alone and never home,
So I go to the one place I used to call my own,
Were I put in a tree A+J,
I will never really know why,
I can never have you,
I know in flesh or bone,
But I got to feel your woman’s touch for the first time,
I knew you were the one,
Now I desperately look for it in lust,
I tell her thinking it is you,
And what I speak is true,
And I wish it was still you,
Who will tell me, “I LOVE YOU”
I knew I would not be true not because of you,
I hope one day I can read this to you.
