Kevin,
Kisses, ever so gentle on my neck
sending shivers down my spine.
Eyes that smile brightly
and a personality that shines.
Vocabulary of an educated man
with charm and a good hearted soul.
I found someone I wasn't looking for
who made the emptiness in me whole.
Now is all we plan for.
We don't know what the future may be.
He says I have an affect on him.
My smile is brighter, when it's him that I see.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
