Crash into me,
Let us become one,
None of the good,
Only the bad.
Fly with me,
Against the wind,
See how far we get,
Or find out just how lost,
We really are.
Take a turn,
Away from the norm,
Off the main road,
And even the one less taken.
Let us make our own path,
So others might follow,
And lead them astray.
Let us crash and burn,
Into the sun,
Or into the ground,
It makes no difference.
We each hold our own,
Neither showing first,
Both going last,
Not willing to fold.
Views distorted,
Weaved in lies,
Wrapped in stories,
Sealed with a bow,
Delivered with purpose.
Are you my gift,
Or my curse?
So let us see;
Are we right?
Are we wrong?
Is there a difference?
Let us become one,
None of the good,
Only the bad.
Fly with me,
Against the wind,
See how far we get,
Or find out just how lost,
We really are.
Take a turn,
Away from the norm,
Off the main road,
And even the one less taken.
Let us make our own path,
So others might follow,
And lead them astray.
Let us crash and burn,
Into the sun,
Or into the ground,
It makes no difference.
We each hold our own,
Neither showing first,
Both going last,
Not willing to fold.
Views distorted,
Weaved in lies,
Wrapped in stories,
Sealed with a bow,
Delivered with purpose.
Are you my gift,
Or my curse?
So let us see;
Are we right?
Are we wrong?
Is there a difference?
