    Insomnia

During the darkest hours of night, I feel you.
Softly caressing my skin. The sensation isn't physical. I just FEEL it.
    Comforting me.
    Giving me strength.
    Giving me reason.
Giving me something to cling to.
    I won't sleep. I can't. I don't want to. Without the darkest hours of night ~ without you~ I would crumble.
So each night, I lie awake, waiting for that moment....when you gently wrap your wings around me and carry me through existence.
For as long as you hold me ~
    I will not let go

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
