IN ANOTHER TIME
In another time
February 21, 2009
By Cyndi (Cooney)Nightengale
Dedicated to Jim
T’was just another time that separated us
Then that wind that uplifted me
That guided me on that cold winters day
To be reborn to awaken like in a dream
Yes it was truly fate
I pondered on writing and contacting you,
I wondered and struggled so on that day
I just didn’t know what I should to do.
I took a chance of blind fate you could say,
Yes it was truly fate
To be welcomed into your open arms,
Will be such a dream come true.
To feel our bodies finally bonding like our minds
Yes knowing each other like from another time,
I am so thankful I took the chance that led me to you
Yes it was truly fate
Oh my darling, my dear,
I am so thankful for that leap of faith
And also that you took one too
A chance that brought us both together,
A decision oh so true
Yes it was truly fate
I no longer seem to be in fear
As our lives grow closer, and you hold my hand
Finally we will be so close, so very near
That other time so long ago will stand
Only in our minds, laughter, hearts, and tears
Now out of the past the future is here
Yes my beloved, it was truly fate
