I Promise

I promise to try and learn something new each day,

to gain more knowledge, strength and power.

I promise to learn from you and your way,

of living and loving, growing closer each day.

I promise to try and make you happier,

happier than you have ever known.

I promise to try and make things easier,

and never to let you feel alone.

I promise to cherish your wonderful smile,

the care you give to me every day.

I promise to walk that extra mile,

and in my heart you will always stay.

I promise to build upon our love,

trust, understanding, caring and sharing.

I promise to make you number one,

My husband, my lover, my friend unending.
