to release all the guilt

to feel needed

but the guilt holds me down
It is a burden
I sink to the ground
I cry
I cry bitter tears
but the light
It moves forward
not back
The warmth feels
wonderful against my skin
It fills me up
takes away my doubt
and replaces my fear
with pure joy
forgiveness
from one forgiving God
who does not allow
our shame and guilt
to overwhelm and consume us
If we just let him come with his light

with warmth
