God's Mime
You may write a masterpiece
with words that are sublime;
they will never equal
God's words passed down through time.
You may paint a masterpiece
with colors that are sureal.
The images are but shadows
of all that God has built.
You may write a masterpiece
where music enchants the ear.
Try as you may you cannot say
nature's music is less revered.
You may dance
a fluid movement of enchantment
to which all can see.
But it is but a mimic
of natures gracefull duality.
We call ourselves artist
creating works in time.
But the masterpieces
we create
are subtle copies-
to God we mime.
