    ENOUGH

I WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW BAD YOU HURT ME.
YOU USED TO BE THE ONLY MAN I COULD TRUST
SO WHY DID YOU DESERT ME?
YOU RAVED ABOUT HOW PROUD YOU WERE
THAT I DIDN'T DO THE THINGS OTHER KIDS WERE DOING.
    LET ME ASK YOU SOMETHING
    DID YOU THINK OF ME
WHEN YOU WERE GETTING YOUR FIX OF COCAINE?
YOU LIED, YOU CHEATED, YOU BROKE OUR FAMILY APART.
YOU'D THINK AFTER FIVE YEARS AND LOSING EVERYTHING
YOU'D HOLD ON TO THE LITTLE YOU HAD LEFT.
    SEEMS EVEN WE WEREN'T ENOUGH
TO KEEP YOU FROM DOING WRONG.
    SO MANY TIMES WE TRIED
    SO MANY NIGHTS WE CRIED
    SO MANY APOLOGIES WORN OUT.
    WHEN WILL IT BE ENOUGH
WHEN WILL YOU STOP HURTING US?

Wow I dig this write. I felt the power of enough by it's content as it eases through great. Keying the word enough and ending with a question feels odd because when I had enough lol it hits the fan.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
