Do Not Judge
Do not judge, for I am ME!
Do not judge, for what you see,
Beneath the mask and elaborate show,
Is one fragile soul, dispirited, low.
Why can’t you stop once in a while?
A greeting offered with a smile…
Take the time to stop and say,
Hello you, how is your day?
How can you understand my pain?
Your interest is with material gain,
No time for others, just inspired by wealth…
How would you feel if you lost your health?
You take for granted every day,
Come for once, and walk my way!
Hold my hand breathe my air…
Maybe then, would you care?
Do not judge, for I am ME
Do not judge for what you see,
For beneath these tired, weary eyes:
A lonely, broken, child cries!
