Deepest Love
My love is growing, I'm enthused with such a girl whose skin is smooth
Who's hair is perfect, day and night, whose eyes do glimmer in the light.
Yes, she is just the girl for me, for if she cries it's like the sea;
It fills my eyes with will to weep, but then her touch is like a keep,
A fortress, built to last out time. It delves me into thoughts sublime.
Her gaze can pierce me to the bone, like water getting pushed by stone.
But sadly I am far away, too far for my own good to stay.
I must achieve a closer place, into her heart where there is grace.
This grace outlasts the strength of rock, which crumbles down when it's unlocked.
Foolish now my words may be, but that is nothing now to me.
For now my life is such as this: I must achieve a single kiss
And then my life will be complete, no other thing on earth competes
With love, something that can't be grasped, for when it sighs the whole world gasps.
But love is something to return, or like a fire it will burn
And sweep across your loveless life, and cut your heart IN like a knife
Except reverse; 'twill make it new: Love will be inside of you.
So listen to this keen advice, love is not blind it is your eyes.
It sees what is invisible, the inside, the unreadable.
So live and love, to all my friends, as I ramble without end.
This girl that I have spoken of, is my embodiment of love.
Some of you know, some of you don't, who this love is, and some just won't.
For love is peaceful, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not whine.
