You are in pain now
I hurt too
The fading sound of your heart beat
I hold your hand
You’re letting go of life
Don’t leave me here all alone
Whisper
“I will watch over you in heaven,
I love you.”
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
