Confession
A man walks in a church
Stop, turn to his right
Where he sees the confessional booth
He walks over sluggish as if he had a vast
Weight upon his shoulder, his shoe prints sinks into the floor
Opens the door and sit in the brown stain wooden chair
Closing the door behind him
The shutter opens and an old man voice says ‘welcome my son’
Forgive me father ‘for I have sin’
I have never been to a confessional and these are my sins
I have robbed the poor just so I could have more
Sold drugs, sling guns are some of the wrongs I have done
Fornicated with the devil and his wives
Intoxicate myself with alcohol, smoking weed wrapped in blunts
Unprotect sex got me shot, needed shots from the doc
Thirty days of penicillin stop my thing from dripping
Unwanted babies with chick, some love, some made me crazy
All these things I have done and vast more
Some fresh in the mind, other lost in the memories
All these things I have done and vast more
The old man ask, “So have you changes your ways my son “
Yes father, I try, but it’s very hard
So hard,
It always is my son said the old man
The road of the wicked is wide
Full of luxurious things
It is the glimmer and the Giles
All fruits desire
We are weak, peoples we are
Be strong my son
Take it day by day
And from this day sin no more
For you are forgiving by the lord
He then opens the door
Stepping out closing the door behind him
Walking away he felt a little light
A little brighter
This time leaving no print behind
Stop, turn to his right
Where he sees the confessional booth
He walks over sluggish as if he had a vast
Weight upon his shoulder, his shoe prints sinks into the floor
Opens the door and sit in the brown stain wooden chair
Closing the door behind him
The shutter opens and an old man voice says ‘welcome my son’
