Chasing happiness

Chasing happiness

Chasing happiness

How long should we chase happiness?

To What length do we have to race?

The more we chase it, the more it hides

It never comes to the surface

the burning question continues

 the desire never subsides

we climb a mountain reaching the top

in searching of happiness to put it on a map

in all the right places even wrong crowd

it doesn’t matter since it is found

happiness is overlooked, ignored by so many

associated with wealth and money

happiness is not something to be wished

it is something to be lived

it can exist independently

it is one heck of an entity

lets not attach it to somebody

to something, to somewhere relatively

lets turn what we have into happiness

by counting our many blessings

it washes away our sufferings

coz chasing happiness is chasing a wind

lets enjoy what we got in hand.
