Blooming Out

Blooming Out

Even from our flower's stem,
The sun touches him with tenderness
Growing roots far deeper
Than any eye can see.
This rose still buds
 our years together,
And petals bloom
Shining a brighter color
Than yesterday.

A simple idea that sings of friendship and love. Very well done... please do not hesitate to give my poem Italian Sonnet I and English Sonnet I your opinion. Thanks again...

Very Lovely, clear, and well-written. I love the use of this metaphor.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
