“The Brotherhood”

“The Brotherhood”

The eye which watches everything

And guides us through these times

The bond we have unbreakable

So very rare to find

The shield which bores us through the blows

Built durable and strong

Shielding us from every strike

Though battles may be long

The sword which strikes down any foe

Whomever it may be

The head force in the battles fight

Fights hard to no decree

Together built a bond as one

Just as a family should

The eye, the shield, and sword our marks

True brothers understood

I am writing about a mideaval story . . . the brother hood thing is really cool. I like it bro. Keep writing ;).

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
