“Dying Pains”

“Dying Pains”

Drained of all feelings

Lost of who I am

Wanting it all end

So much do I spend

Drilling is the pain

Knowing no on cares

Unless a loss to them

Heartless as they stare

Demented how it is

Are all without a soul

As if they can not help

And they have no control

Dying is to come

My life a shadow cast

Will it end alone

How long does torment last

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
