“Queen from Afar”
Where are thou beauty that men admire or the tender touch that I desire?Every day on earth is only a blessing when the stressing leads to caressing.
Could it be wrong of me to indulge in the exploitation of love not for personal gain but for the necessity of dying in vain?
If a dime fell every time I told you I love you, there will be a flooding that will eclipse the masses, God only knows if you are sincere at heart, so I taken the time to write this poem so we will never fall apart.
United we stand but divided we fall, you’re my queen so come when I call.
Ideally, our love will never die and realistically we need each other to survive.
With time people grow and with experiences it will show.
The young women I see from afar has a shirt that shouts for attention or maybe is just the fixation point that thrives to teach me a listen.
She waits patiently for my arrival and once I reach my destination it feels amazing.
All that can be seen is the sparkle that comes from the sun rays beaming off of the eyes of my queen.
How can I express to her that she is all I will ever need?
I constantly show her by expressing my inner most thoughts and writing poems from the bottom of my heart.
Material wealth is not good for anyone’s health and although I do not oppose of having the finer things in life, we know better than to argue over piety bites.
If words are forever embedded in stone, I will want you to know that your initials are carved permanently in the strings of my heart.
There is not a day that goes by that I sit and think on how life will be without you by my side.
As well as the acquisition of children, homes, dogs, and furniture, etc. Unfortunately, nothing last forever is the words you uttered today.
We will be better off is what you told me.
How can I continue to be optimistic with the words that you speak?
Well, if actions speak louder than words than we may be able to salvage the resources needed to remain together and peacefully coexist.
The question is, can we peacefully co-exist?
Someone asked me will there ever be peace and I said yes, when the world falls to pieces.
