    your little lie

    I didn't cry a tear this time;
    the pain i feel is much to familiar.
    I hear your voice saying my name.
    I hear my voice crying in pain.
    You told me never, you lied instead;
    your pitiful games stirring in my head.
    In my veins my blood boils with rage,
    holding in words i know i should say
    Pretending, i hope its not real.
    Sitting here and struggling not to feel.
    Broken inside, my dreams shattered tonight.
    The consequences of your "little lie" .

    deep truthful and felt

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

    John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
