wrestling with wisdom
Early this morning in a dream
There was a wrestling of beings
One being, being me
For from far beyond the mind
I heard voices praying a cry;
struggling with me till daybreak.
“What is your name?”
‘Why do you ask for a name?
We are the children of Solomon.
From the seed of Abraham.’
“Why do you cry?”
‘We want Wisdom! For we must overcome!
And we won’t let go until we are blessed!’
‘It’s not about a name or the change of the same
But we desire Wisdom; not riches or fame.’
Therefore, the spirit of Solomon concluded the matter:
“The whole duty of man is to fear God
and keep His commandments.”
“And that is your stairway to heaven!”
Thanks, they said.
Amen, I confessed.
Hallelujah! We rejoiced.
