I am Barabbas is you

“Hi, I am Barabbas
How are you, Barabbas?”
That middle cross was for me
That middle cross was for you
We were to die
Yet Jesus died
We are guilty
[just like Barabbas]
Jesus was innocent
Yet He chose to give His life
so that we can live.
Twould be shameful,
dishonourable,
disrespectful,
a rejection;
not to accept such a gift…
Now!

Austin G. Henry

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
