    Words of wisdom words that sear,

    Words that are spoken not ever meant,

    For others to hear.~

    Words of hope words about life,

    Words that are broken that make,

    Some strife.~

    Words of today words from the past,

    All these words are spoken,

    For the moment or will last.~

    Words of laughter words of pain,

    Today too many words seem to be,

    Lodged deep in my brain.~

    Words of love even words of hate,

    Words that make the days,

    Run late.~

    Words that are written words of fate,

    All of the words have to make me,

    Give up the faith.~

    Words to live by words that sigh,

    Lots of words I have spoken,

    Have made you cry.~

    Words I hold deep inside me,

    Words that you know will,

    Set you free……
