~The song of night~

The song of night grasp a hold of my hand,

Takes me to places you will feel natures band.~

The song of night travels by dim star light,

Its like a sixpenny nail closing the lid tight.~

Under a star filled sky you can hear,

The silent songs that fill up the night.~

The crickets play out there long legged tune,

Captivated by the boogie of the man in the moon.~

The night swallow sings in tune then travels,

To the clouds as summer rings through.~

The fire flies light up the night,

With a lightning show that is such a delight.~

The owl takes her just place upon her thrown,

If a mere varmint wonders they will lose the sight.~

The frogs bellow out the un human like bass,

As the wolfs let out there calls for the chase.~

The calls of the night speak to all,

All you have to do is sit and take in there delights.~
