    Heavens gates

    If I ate a Angel
    would it get me close
    If I shot Saint Peter at the gate
    would I have not to wait,
    If I rolled in with a silver plate full of cash
    would God then greet my ass,
    If I learned every word of the Holy book
    do you think he would give me a second look,
    If I kissed the Popes ring
    could I get in at least
    push the doorbell to ring,
    If I had a golden jeweled cross
    would I be allowed meet the boss,
    If I ask him if it could be my new home
    do you think he would toss this dawg a bone,
    If I agreed to live in the rain
    and never take his name in vain,
    If I shot a chrub and stole
    his get into heaven free card
    it might not be hard,
    If I parted the Red Sea would Mosses put in a  good word for me........................

    Interesting read. I like the thoughts and premise of this one. Something we can all contemplate. I have one called The Gates of Hell. It's about the Rodin sculpture. You should take a look. Nice job. Thanks for sharing... Kevin.

    I love these bold statements... I have many, many, many of my own issues with religion and I feel the inferences in this. ~☮

    religion is the smile on a dog....
