Who He Is
He was a Chicago loner, the "most likely to fail",The poor loser whose parents didn't care to give him anything.
But when he looked in his eyes of his reflection, he wanted to cry,
Because he saw all his pefections, that no one saw when they called him dumb.
His eyes were the fire in the infinity torch, his heart like the bricks of a castle,
He kept his face to the ground, so he didn't have to hear the names.
His silent prayer was inside, screaming out loud,
To be seen for who he is, not an idiot.
Did you know? I know you all laughed in his face,
But never took the time to see the truth in his eyes.
Beaten shoes and dirty clothes vanished, changed as he grew,
Changed to show the person you never took the time to know.
