    It's somethng I often wonder .... What if?

    What If?


    ~ ??? ~

    What If ?
    It's somethng I often wonder,
    Should I just act upon a whim ~
    Or contemplate and ponder - Where should I begin?

    ~ ???  ~

    What If ?
    I listen to my inner voice,
    Should I follow my aching heart ~
    While acting on instinct - Thru this labrynth in the dark?

    ~ ??? ~

    What If ?
    It's the age old question,
    One, that I often ask myself ~
    What if I died in Heaven - Am I damned to live this Hell?

    ~ ??? ~

    What if?
    I'm not meant to be here,
    And somehow arrived off course ~
    Would any of it really matter - If I never felt remorse?

    ~ ??? ~

    What If?
    Does it really matter,
    In the overall scheme of things?
    I think I'll just wait patiently - To see what tomorrow brings.

    What If indeed....two words have never been more powerful...and it would save alot of heartache if we could have a What If ball to shake before we ever take a leap....its alos a cruel twist of fate...and sits right next to its cousin...If Only...Cher

    very insightful and intropsectibe write, this poem brings me into the thoughts of looking into a mirrorm seeing two images staring back at you, and left with the question of which one is your trueself??? I can relate to this one on several levels and have ask myself this question many many times, while I try and pray to live of the light with the salvation of the Lord' grace, I just can't seem to escape from the grap of the darkness that at times threatens to consume my veruy soul. Purity of the soul, journey well!!! with grace and humility ANGEL
