knight4696 10/24/2010: Thanks again Pal .. I was shocked that this one won the weekly contest .. I wrote it for some xmas inspiration .. I had absoltely none at the time and needed something to lift my own spirits. If I heard Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer one more time - I was going to shoot somebody!! lol! :) Thanks again. Ken

knight4696 02/21/2010: Thanks Intense! :) You are so right .. I had little to no Christmas spirit this year and I wrote this in an attempt to give myself some. I hate the political correctness that has so engulfed our society. The majority must give up everything for the few .. I just don't get it? Thanks again! :) Ken

knight4696 01/30/2010: Thnnks again Angel! :) Well ... my lack of spirit not only included the poor economy, it really stems from the lack of the true meaning. I'm so tiired of the commercialism and it's materialistic hammerings. I just long for the days when it meant more to be together with friends and family, then what was received under the tree. What ever happened to caroling and eggnog by the fire anyway? Thanks again, Ken
