What Happened?
I first knew something was wrong by the quiet.
There was not a riot,
not a noise, not a peep.
The quiet seeps into me.
I wonder,
I look.
The house felt drained as did me.
This is not how it is so suppose to be!
Our house was alive,
like a garden full of sweet delight.
But now it is dead!
I ponder why?
As I glided by each room,
I knew I was doomed!
Then a scream broke the silence,
the scream was full of violence!
I felt relief, but I was not glad,
instead I felt mad!
Running like the wind,
down the hall,
down the stairs,
into a room.
I discovered Isabelle in a state of shock,
But my view was blocked.
Then I saw,
it was a crime,
some one broke the law.
I first knew something was wrong by the quiet.
There was not a riot,
not a noise, not a peep.
The quiet seeps into me.
I wonder,
I look.
The house felt drained as did me.
This is not how it is so suppose to be!
Our house was alive,
like a garden full of sweet delight.
But now it is dead!
I ponder why?
As I glided by each room,
I knew I was doomed!
Then a scream broke the silence,
the scream was full of violence!
I felt relief, but I was not glad,
instead I felt mad!
Running like the wind,
down the hall,
down the stairs,
into a room.
I discovered Isabelle in a state of shock,
But my view was blocked.
Then I saw,
it was a crime,
some one broke the law.
I first knew something was wrong by the quiet.
