What Happen to Those Days
As a kid you use to do crazy stuff that would make you laugh so hard
that your belly would ache! What happen to those days?
Do you remember just spinning around and around until the whole world
seem to be spinning and you felt like you were drunk, now our kids are
using recreational drugs to get the same high that we got from
spinning around in circles.
Life and times have changed over the years and so have we; but we must all remember that there is still a big kid inside of each of us. We
make mistakes and learned from them. We said things that may have hurt someone's feelings, we apologized. We may have broken something, we repaired it. But most importantly we grew from it.
Moving to the next stage in life is hard for some people, because they
are afraid of what's on the other side of the door. The older you get
the more you have to offer, it may not be in physical strength or money.
But you have unconditional love, knowledge and time. I’ve noticed
that it's not important for me to make the next light or get home within
a certain time. It's not important if I don't make my bed up, because I
will be returning to that same spot tonight. It's not important that if
the dishes don't get wash tonight, because I will have more tomorrow.
But what is important is for me to take time for me, if it's just
slouching around looking through magazines, looking at the television,
but as long as I do something that relaxes my soul.
Stop right now and have a fun moment and just spin around until you get dizzy, look at an old childhood television show and laugh until your head hurt. Whatever you do, do it for YOU.
