  • SPRING BREAK IS OVER NOW SO I WON'T BE ON AS MUCH

Welcome Home

Falling stars
Shine so brightly
Those three words
That hold me tightly
Leaving all the
Fear behind
Make some music
Make it rhyme

Shining stars
Glinting coldly
Find the words
That break me slowly
Watching all the
Tears come down
Take away
This golden crown

Fleeing stars
Made so quickly
Don’t you wish
That you were with me
Safe and sound
No danger here
Find my voice
I’ll be near

Floating stars
Can you hear me
Make a wish
When you see me
Find the safety
You hold dear
Make a wish
I am here

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
