    Waiting For Love

Why must there be forever this void of emptiness
My soul is like a prisioned bird, striving to be free
so thoughts could mate and blend as one and than tranquility
My heart listens for your approch, but you have tarried long
I have not known the song of love, the words that kindle bliss,
the tender tears and laughter, nor the sweet thrill of your kiss
I only know the waiting, the prayer here inside
that when you come my way again, you will not pass me buy.
