    LOVES SORROW

The morning air smells of the salty sea mist
The sands are warm from the suns kiss
I walk with you in the morning light, my heart is filled with perfect delite
Holding your hand gave me comfort and peace, my love for you will never cease
The ocean waves clash on the  shore bringing memories of you once more
We were so happy I know it was true, yet you walked away from me and left me blue
You left, and I was  so alone to walk our beach on my own
The misty air doesn't smell the same, the oceans roar wonders who's to blame
the golden sun does't shine so bright anymore, the warmth of the sand has lost its lore
You walked out on me without a word, you acted as if you no longer cared
The magic and passion all this we had, what made it all go so bad
I know longer walk the ocean shore, there's nothing for me there anymore
I saw him just the other day, a wife and two children were at his side, I finally realized why are love was a lie
Will I ever look for rainbows or feel the warmth of the golden sun
and walk along the sandy shore again with someone
Today I will not think of the past and of a love that did not last
I'll look to the future and new dreams to share with someone who will truly care

This poem is another mirror where I can see me. I had a great love that eternal it was suposed to be. Since the first day it started like a fire that it went never to cease. But one night a strong rain fell over my soul, now my eternal fire doesn't exist.

thank you for your comment and I do enjoy all you write

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
