Vampire Family
In the dead of night
While others have long since slipped into sleep
A young girl crawls out of a coffin
She looks up to the moon
And smiles
She carefully stands up
Her white dress falling to the floor
She walks over to another coffin that lay
Across the dark red room
She slides the top off
To reveal an even younger girl
Come on darling
She whisper to the child
The child yawns and sits up
Smiling up to her mother
Who lifts her up in her arms
They look over to a white coffin that lay open
And empty
He's been awake for a while
The two girls go down the hall
And find him in the study
He smiles as the enter
He created the mother only a century
After he was turned
And then the child a few years after turning
The mother
They've been a family ever since
Let's be off
He tells the two
For they are both ready for a hunt
It's a nightly routine
They hunt and start their night
As a family
Of vampires
