    Us Again


    When time takes away the pain
    When regrets dont weigh us down so much
    When anger doesnt remain
    When the heart isnt so tender to touch
    There may be us again
    When we can look at one another with clear thought
    When we no longer feel burdened inside
    When we can truly understand the connection we've got
    When there are no feelings to hide
    There may be us again
    When we can trust freely
    When we are rid of the fear, the guilt, the shame
    When we can let go of anxiety
    When we quit laying blame
    There may be us again
    Only time will tell whether this will occur or not
    For for right now
    I will still appreciate
    The friendship
    You and I
    Have got
